GWA is proud to be a part of Canada Post’s Postal Transformation Program where the modernization of mail processing plants enables our country’s mail carriers to be more efficient and sustainable when delivering mail throughout the community. The primary goal is to build new facilities where modernized mail sorting can occur to effectively provide service within the community. This involved the understanding of three primary means of mail delivery and sortation: the high dock, low dock, and at-grade loading. In addition to the industrial processing involved, GWA also helped plan the office, staff rooms, meeting rooms, change rooms, and administrative functions of the facilities.
